Jennifer
has been a veterin pupil of Antonio for more than 5 years and has established her understanding
of 'Natural Vocal Production" with pragmatism and knowledgeable conviction. She is most sweet natured
in her approach to teaching and amply encouraging in helping students overcome their vocal limitations
and fears. Born as an instrumentalist at first she then discovered her natural vocal gift and took
up vocal studies with Antonio not long afterwards.
Ever since then she has not looked backwards but has instead excelled in refining both her vocal and artistic skills and permitting her thus in becoming a very appealing Natural, Acoustic, Vocal Artist. Jennifer has also committed to sharing her vocal knowledge with all who readily welcome her teaching of "Natural Singing".
Born to a music loving family, Jennifer Cheng-Lau began learning the piano at the age of 5 and then the violin at the age of 6. When her primary school music teacher asked her to try and play the cello, she immediately knew it was her instrument and under Lui Ki Ling’s guidance, studied to the 8th grade in Hong Kong. At the same time, Jennifer’s exceptional vocal talent was highjly commended and recognised by local authorities within the professional music industry.
Already at an exceptionally early age she began performing as a highly respected and noted classical and popular soloist artist. She is currently performing locally and abroad in concert programmes and musicals. At present while residing in Australia, Jennifer continues to perform with successful reviews from vocal critics.
She has further ventured on and has committed herself to studio recordings and is currently working on her own Album. Jennifer began studying Vocal Physiology and Natural Voice Production with Antonio in 2002 and is currently an associate teacher at the AML Golden Voice Studio.
