This class has been introduced for singers, artists actors, performers and people in general who while developing their vocal instrument will equally and progressively develop their knowledge and understanding of musical annotation and practical sight-reading skills to complement the voice and professional attitude towards their music.

While it always remains important not to abandon aural perceptive means of learning it will always benefit if the singing applicant were music literary. Students in a group class effort will learn to sight-read music using both the musical note names (ie. Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do) in fixed Do, and the literary note names (ie. C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C).

They will also learn how to sight-read musical rhythms, melodies (in treble and bass clefs) and harmonies by performing effective exercises that will lead them to a more confident musical understanding. Music theory is studied with the inclusion of theory book exersises applied throughout to strengthen the pupil's understanding and ability to read music charts. Students also learn to play KEYBOARDS as a major practical emphasis in this class.
